I am writing this letter to let your readers know how the Aesthetic Realism of Eli Siegel has positively impacted the lives of me and my family. My sister, Carol Driscoll, has been a student and consultant of Aesthetic Realism for many years. I too had private phone consultations for a short time early in my marriage. My marriage is now going on 34 years, and I can thank Aesthetic Realism for their support and encouragement at a time when it was most needed. I never felt pressured or influenced to say or do anything I didn’t want to. My sister Carol showed a kindness and genuine interest in my life. We became closer not just as sisters but as friends. We were not very close as children growing up, but the love and respect has strengthened over the years.
I recently read an article that referred to Aesthetic Realism as a mind controlling cult. This statement is ludicrous and untrue. I will always be grateful to my sister for bringing Aesthetic Realism into my life and the lives of those I love.
